In Loving Memory · En Memoria
Bob Hendricks — Navy veteran, retired electrician, incurable fisherman, and for the last eleven years one of Boquete's most familiar smiles — passed away peacefully at home in Alto Boquete, with Carol at his side and the mountains he loved outside the window.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bob wired half the neighborhoods of Wichita before retiring in 2015, when he and Carol traded tornado season for eternal spring. In Boquete he found his third act: teaching neighbors to fly-fish the Caldera, fixing anything with a motor for anyone who asked, and holding court every Tuesday at the market with a cup of Geisha he swore was "worth every penny."
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol; his children Michael and Susan; four grandchildren who called him "Abuelo Bob"; and a town full of friends on two continents.
